Wild About Art - "Let's Play with Clay: A Sculpting Lesson with Ken Rowe"

A great opportunity for kids of all ages to learn how to make a small armature and sculpt an animal bust during this morning's Livestream Video. Ken will show you how to make the armature using ceiling hooks that is screwed into a piece of scrap wood and then sculpt the bust using a choice of clays:

"CHAVANT LE BEAU TOUCHE" - (Not HM-High Melt). You will need a 2 lb block. You can purchase the clay from Arizona Sculpture Supply in Tempe at 1727 E. Weber Dr, Tempe, AZ 85281 or call them at 888-967-7727 or

"SCULPEY OVEN-BAKE CLAY" - Available at Micheal's and most craft stores. It comes in a 1/2 lb block. or

"CRAFTSMART PLASTALINA MODELING CLAY " - also available at Michael's or most craft stores. It comes in a 1b. block.

CEILING HOOK - 3/8"- Available at any hardware store.

BLOCK OF WOOD - 4" x 6" scrap wood.

1/8" DRILL BIT to drill the hole for the ceiling hook.
