“Brown Trout” Storyline

Brown Trout are native to Europe and Asia and were first introduced to North America in 1983. “Brown Trout” is the first bronze in the Reflections Series. Ken is an avid fly fisherman and was forced to take time from his busy schedule to do field research for this series. From Alaska, the Sevier River in Utah, or closer to home in Oak Creek Canyon, Sedona, part of Ken’s process involves catching the trout or salmon, taking measurements, and close observation of color and patterns. Gathering the information he needs to sculpt their likeness and essence, he releases the fish back into the waters to continue on their life journey.
