 I’ll Wait for You

Patience is one of the distinct qualities of wildlife, especially the wild cats. A bobcat can sit and wait, sometimes for hours, for an unsuspecting meal to walk by. This behavior inspired the title of this painting, “I’ll Wait for You”.  Another distinctive feature of the bobcat is their enormous feet. In this painting, the focus is on one foot poised for his next move. Is he waiting to reach out with a playful paw or is he just waiting to snatch up his next meal? Only he knows!

Bobcats are curious, playful, highly intelligent and captivating. The bobcat is America’s cat! This amazing animal calls 47 of the US states home. This painting features the handsome and beautiful bobcat named Logan. Logan and a sibling were found abandoned in the wild, the fate of their mother unknown. He had a rough few months as he was nurtured back to good health. Unfortunately, due to the required daily hands on medical care Logan required to survive, he became too bonded with humans to be released to the wild. He will now live a long, safe and happy life at the Runnin’ W Wildlife Center in Cornville, AZ serving an an Animal Ambassador for all bobcats. I plan to paint Logan as often as I can. Live long and prosper beautiful boy! - Jen Farnsworth
