Pitcher plants grow in wetlands and produce a fragrance that attracts insects which nourish them. Green tree frogs are attracted by the insects and often enter inside the pitcher plant to eat them.
In my mind’s eye I saw someone picking a bouquet of these beautiful plants along with some of its blossoms. After arranging them in a vase the tree frog makes an appearance. — Kim Kori
