“Sheltered” Storyline

“Sheltered is the second sculpture in my Sycamore Leaf series.  

Every Autumn I rejoice in the leaves that fall from the beautiful Arizona Sycamore trees that grow along Oak Creek and I imagine the various creatures amongst them. 

In this sculpture, a Mother Field Mouse gathers her brood under the shelter of a large leaf during a rainstorm. ”
